We are looking for a qualified teacher to fill the position of English and Computer Teacher. The ideal candidate will possess strong pedagogical skills, ICT proficiency, and a genuine passion for empowering girls through quality education.
Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor of Education (B.A. Ed / B.Sc. Ed) with English & Computer combination
OR Bachelor's degree (English/Computer Science) with PGDE
OR Diploma in Secondary Education (DSEE) with English & Computer combination
Fresh graduates: Minimum GPA 3.5
Experience
Senior Teacher: 5+ years
Graduate Teacher: 1–4 years
Diploma Teacher: 2+ years
Postgraduate Teacher: 1+ year
Graduate Trainee: Less than 1 year
Technical Skills
ICT proficiency and computer lab management
Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, e-School, TAMISEMI systems
Virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
Experience preparing students for CSEE and ACSEE
Language & Communication
Excellent written and spoken English
Proficiency in Kiswahili
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Personal Attributes
Strong discipline and professional ethics
Clean criminal record
Willing to live on campus (boarding school)
Passion for teaching and mentoring young women
Team player with adaptability
Respect for Catholic values
Statutory Requirements
Tanzanian citizen
Valid medical certificate
Age 25–50 years
Two reference letters
Teaching registration (preferred)
Additional Requirements
Willing to lead co-curricular clubs (Debate, Computer, Journalism, Sports)
Available for boarding duties (evening study, weekends)
